Abstract

In recent years, the progress of smartphones has been remarkable and expanded at an explosive pace around the world. Moreover, a lot of applications in smartphones have been also developed every year. But we comprehend that papers about Haiku applications have been hardly reported. In our continued theme which is called fusion of Literature and Media design, we prepared the development environment in Android OS and developed the Haiku application to compose haiku poems. This time, we tried to build the environment which could perform Haiku activity with only one smartphone outdoors. This time, we newly developed the Haiku application in the Android OS ver.4.2, which had been developed in the ver2.2 last time. We experimented in the students of the Japanese department at our university with the Haiku Application in the smartphone. Then, we asked them to take a questionnaire and we evaluated the result.
