Abstract

This demonstration is an overview of Operation SPLASH: an educational video game that motivates high school students to learn physics and chemistry. By designing game features according to specific motivational principles, we aim to trigger situational interests that may evolve into individual interests in students. In this session, we will demonstrate Operation SPLASH and invite participants to explore and critique the game. We are eager to receive constructive feedback to improve and expand the game.
