Abstract

This paper addresses the question of how to exploit the capabilities of an existing intelligent decision aid to enhance the learning of novice professionals faced with the need to make decisions in a dynamic context. The design of a prototype case-based multimedia learning environment enhanced by the integration of the intelligent decision aid builds on relevant theory and the results of prior research. A detailed description of a structured learning experience using the learning environment is followed by suggestions for how the design can be experimentally validated.
