Abstract

There is a research gap between the importance of mobile media, especially tablets, and their use in m-education. Mobile learning, with wireless and pocket devices, such as tablets, need to understand the key characteristics of the new media. In this paper scenario method is applied to understand their use and future development in m-education. The understanding of their key characteristics allows integrating these characteristics into the arrangement of a meaningful learning environment, which meet young people’s habit of using these devices. In consequence this will lead to successful learning processes, which are accompanied by emotion and engagement. Not to understand these characteristics and their use would mean to waste a great potential.
