Abstract
Draws on experience using on-line technology during the field experience of a teacher education course to offer guidelines on assessment. They include: assessment procedures need to be delineated and communicated up front to students, professors must make sure students are secure with the technology, and the professor must model all the procedures used to assess field experiences.
