Abstract

In this session I will demonstrate an evolving ebook, entitled "Emerging Perspectives on Teaching, Learning and Technology (http://itstudio.coe.uga.edu/ebook/)," that I created in collaboration with a group of doctoral students for use in a Masters level class on learning theories and instructional models. Since it is an ebook it, can be regularly updated, it can include interactivity and animations, it can be regularly added to, it can have contributors from around the field, and anyone can use it without charge for their classes. The obvious negative issue is what this would mean for book publishers?
