Abstract

A nation-wide Masterplan for IT in education was implemented in Singapore since 1997. To help overcome the shortage of instructional programs, an innovate approach, called microLESSONSTM,was devised to help teachers develop their own IT based instructional materials using MS Powerpoint TM. In addition, it is also a way to help teachers to adopt a more constructivist approach by engaging them in designing constructivist learning activities.
