Abstract

We look at the current state of the art of technology and products that support tele-microscopy. Tele-microscopy does not have a precise definition. Generally, it means delivering data from a microscope to a remote observer through one of the many media channels. While many different types of microscopes exist, we will focus on one class: the Scanning Probe Microscope (SPM).
