Abstract
E-Commerce, when viewed as a network of multimedia data transactions, is a sophisti-cated application of multimedia information authoring, retrieval, searching, browsing, clustering, and navigation. This paper analyzes the role of each of these multimedia technologies in the context of E-Commerce.
