Abstract

Technology is changing as a result of a linear relationship between the technology and the World. At this point we come across the jargon technology integration. Technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) is a kind of integration explained in a multi-dimensional situation. The purpose of this paper is determining IT Preservice Teachers’ ICT Usage regarding to TPACK competences. The study is methodized in reference to single screening model. Participants of the study consist of 136 preservice IT teachers from higher education institutions. Two different instruments were used for gathering the data: TPACK scale and ICT Usage Survey. Data analyses were carried out with descriptive statistics such as frequencies, standard deviation and mean. The study results reveal that preservice teachers have higher and medium levels TPACK competency. ICT usage has lower, medium and higher levels.
