Abstract

This brief paper describes the process of piloting electronic portfolios (e-portfolios) for undergraduate teacher candidates as a way to demonstrate skills and competencies gained during an initial certification program. Additionally, it discusses the skills and abilities that candidates believe are necessary in order to develop a successful e-portfolio, new skills and abilities gained during the process of developing an e-portfolio, and recommendations that undergraduate teacher candidates have for students.
