Abstract

In this paper an innovative collaborative virtual environment, based on Web 2.0 technology, to manage e-learning objects and videos of lectures and seminars for remote classrooms is discussed. The high quality streaming media combined with the web 2.0 techniques permits a real time data synchronization to experiment a new advanced collaborative web interface between teacher/speaker and students contextually for lectures and seminars. The Usability Laboratory, ENEA Research Centre, has implemented MobiLesson 11 a new virtual environment to extend the fruition in a mobile context. The study was done to determine, between the users, the effectiveness and satisfaction of the innovative educational proposal.An interesting innovative mobile interface for smart-phone and tablet has been implemented.
