Abstract

This session will illustrate how Fab@School introduces students to the excitement and power of digital fabrication, empowering them to imagine, invent, collaborate and fabricate geometric structures, simple machines, pop-ups and other 3D products. Learn how to give students the satisfying experience of taking their concepts from mind’s eye to physical form as they explore an emergent technology that the Society of Manufacturing Engineering says will bring “revolutionary changes for both manufacturers and consumers”.
