Abstract

As online programs expand to become a common mode of delivery in all educational institutions, the basic issues of access and equity that have been an after-thought to many faculty and program managers need to be addressed. Online education is no longer an experiment. Students can't be denied access to online education because course and program design haven't addressed the basic design principles that enable people with disabilities to participate as full students.
