E-business models applied to education

This article is based on the literature review around the Web 2.0 and its potential for education.
A number of new services have appeared on the Web and are commonly regrouped under the label of “Web 2.0”. The objective of this article is to show how the Web has evolved to this new system, to identify the different applications available and to define the various existing business models. Furthermore, this article will present the various opportunities of implementing a Web 2.0 based system for education, and will present the cost and limits of such an implementation.
