Course delivery mentorship via videoconferencing in K-12 classrooms

The Videoconferencing Regional Leads Network (VCRLN) is a venture to advance the use of videoconferencing in Alberta K-12 schools. The network has developed and evolved from its early stages and expanded its mission in ways that were not anticipated by its founders. This paper will present the maturation of the VCRLN identifying the challenges involved with keeping a growing professional development network thriving. The cascade model of professional development will be emphasized with specific focus on the roles of the latest innovation, VCRLN Course Delivery Mentors.
