The Mediterranean Youth Technology Club, is a bridge building initiative amongst youth mainly in the Mediterranean Basin; designed to empower and educate youth with a view of providing them with tools that would enable them to become responsible members of society. Through MYTecC, youth develop a sense of responsible leadership, and a propensity to work harmoniously with each other. During this one year program youth simultaneously follow three different but complimentary curricula: English, Social-Virtual and Technology. The program is delivered through NGOs, youth centers, community centers, universities that are managed by the local partners. The 1st MYTecC cycle started on February 2008 and ended on June 2009 with a great success. The 2nd MYTecC cycle will start in January 2010 and more classes will be starting in September and December 2010. There is an interest in expanding and transforming MYTecC to WYTecC, from a Mediterranean to a World Technology Club.
