Abstract

This paper discusses results of a project in which wretch.cc blog, one popular social media in Taiwan, had been incorporated into the teaching of contemporary American short stories in class among students of a university leve. Two functions enabled by the wretch.cc blog, namely, video playing and comment making, had been used particularly to promote students’ interests and understanding of literary texts.
