Abstract
This symposium will demonstrate how a whole school will potentially be re-invigorated by commitment to innovative practice using information and communications technologies. This symposium will share the strategies developed at one of the pilot schools in FutureSchools@Singapore in response to the challenge of preparing students for the digital revolution. The school employs two approaches in driving the initiative: (1) a project approach where tools and pedagogies are developed to customize for the purpose of the various school academic programs; and (2) a research approach to study how the tools, pedagogies, the settings and the people interact in the course of bringing about engaged learning. Findings from studies already implemented at the school or mature research plans to be implemented will be shared at the symposium.
