Abstract: This review provides a summary of key m-learning (mobile learning) research published from 2006 - 2009. Furthermore, this review identifies common research themes shared within the literature and examines the nature of the studies being conducted. A cross-database search of online peer reviewed academic journals uncovered 28 key m-learning studies that are examined herein. This paper is intended to highlight the diverse research that is developing in this blossoming field of e-learning and to uncover new avenues for future m-learning research.
