Abstract

The widespread use of mobile devices, such as mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), or laptop, along with advances in wireless communication technologies, such as GPS, GSM, GPRS, 3G and satellite systems, has nourished a new learning paradigm known as the mobile learning (m-Learning). A key character of m-learning that allows the learner can learn at any time anywhere in a non-predetermined fashion has caught attentions in fields like vocational and educational training, museum and art galleries, etc. In this paper, a simulation platform based on the MOBIlearn framework is being developed using OPNET Modeler to study framework.
