Abstract

There is extremely few courseware authoring applications which have the capability to quickly process the instructional video whose content includes a PowerPoint document. In addition, learners need much time and energy to retrieve the graphic slides from a video. Therefore, the study was proposed the embedded interactive information system which adopts the automatic detection technology to reduce the time of retrieving interactive learning materials. Instruction designers or teachers can embedded the interactive learning materials into instructional video through the proposed system. The interactive learning materials not only let learners participate in learning activities according to interactive instructions but make them control their learning progress.
