Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore EFL students' attitude and writing performance under e-Learning platform and pen-pal setting in a US-Taiwan, male-female email exchange program. Thirty-one students took part in the program to exchange life-style thoughts for three months. The results indicate that most students held positive attitude on this project and perceived improvements on culture awareness and writing skills over the traditional in-class mode.
