Abstract

This paper discusses the needs, process, implementation and evaluation of the re-design and re-creation of one course in an educational technology program in order to meet NCATE/ISTE standards for national recognition and remain true to its conceptual roots in constructivism and constructionism. The experience shared by both course designers and instructor in the course redesign process also offers suggestions to others approaching this task.
