Abstract
This presentation describes the process involved in designing an interactive multimedia learning environment called TNA Online Training Course Development to support task-based learning for the insurance service professionals. The goals of the project are to create a systematic design process and a course content management framework to support effective in-house course development activities. The project was developed by a group of TNA employees who have been responsible for creating insurance training courses and two Instructional Technology doctoral students at The University of Texas at Austin who were engaged in a course that situates learning amid real-world design projects. The project team was responsible for the first two phases of the instructional design cycle: analysis and design.
