Abstract

This paper reports on a third grade class's use of technology during a science unit on forces and motion. The investigation documents the unique ways in which children can construct knowledge and create multimedia representations of their learning when afforded ready access to a variety of digital devices. Further, the study explores the way information and communication technologies support meaningful student collaboration and the situated learning approach.
