Abstract
Clinical supervision by faculty is an important instructional strategy to reinforce acquisition and development of psychiatric nursing skills. This article discusses elements of the supervision process and describes the structuring of clinical supervision experiences in an associate degree nursing education program. A student perspective about the clinical supervision experience during her undergraduate psychiatric nursing clinical rotation is also presented.
