Abstract

This paper reviews the principles of Project-based learning, and describes a program that is built on the principles of project based learning. Further, this paper highlights the success and challenges of an out-school program that served 280 k-12 students, 20 pre-service and 10 in-service teachers. The data collected from the program include pre-test and posttest scores, attendance records, attitude surveys, and preservice teacher interviews and written comments.
