Abstract

The purposes of this study are to explore the effects of computer-based worksheets application and to investigate students' performance on and attitude toward the computer-based learning worksheets. The results show that students perform well on the worksheets even though they may not be familiar with their application. Meanwhile, students show high preference for learning and evaluating with computer-based worksheets, and also reveal high intention to utilize them in the future. Students who are used to access information via the Internet get higher scores; the more experience they have in using CAI or WBL, the more they prefer learning with computers. This paper also suggests having an orientation of worksheets before applying them, taking computer experience into consideration, cogitating features of computer technology, as well as making hyperlinks to provide content-relevant information properly.
