Preparing New Teachers to Use Computer Technology: Perceptions and Suggestions for Teacher Educators

Abstract

Discussion of preservice teacher education in computer technology focuses on a survey of teachers who had completed their first year of teaching that examined their perceptions of how prepared they were to use computers in the classroom. Course recommendations, computers in student teaching, and suggestions for teacher educators are discussed. (29 references) (LRW)
