Abstract
Given the rapid growth of the e-learning market (Allen & Seaman, 2007/2009; Nagal, 2010), it is important for educational organizations to increasingly offer flexible delivery options in order to meet the varied needs of adult learners. To integrate online students and face-to-face students, a team of faculty members, Instructional Technology Consultants, and IT Support collaborated closely to develop classroom facilities that allow for real time interaction between both groups. By offering live audio and video-based web-conferencing, on-site and online students were able to engage in dialog, collaborate on class projects, and provide immediate feedback.
