Abstract

Situation Learning (SL) is a new hypermedia knowledge module for on- and off-line use. The presented solution offers a new approach to knowledge module presentation that is different from the majority of presently used approaches. The interactive component of the SL approach increases students' involvement and motivation for learning. Learners can experiment and investigate within the 'virtual world' of the SL knowledge module. Such experimenting and interacting with different knowledge presentations makes it possible to construct own specific knowledge thus making the factual knowledge more permanent.
