Abstract

The current presentation is intended to disseminate lessons learned from a federal-funded grant project. As a critical part of the project scope, a distance education program has been developed through a systematic design and execution of a project plan. Lessons in four major areas are emphasized: student learning outcomes, faculty training, institutional impacts, and virtual collaboration. Further recommendations will be discussed.
