Abstract

One of the things that must be considered in smart media-based learning is the flow of the service. In other words, the service’s continuous flow needs to support the sustainability of the learner’s learning. In designing the service, design service methodology can be used. Usually, the traditional design methodology only deals with the sales market and the touch point between the consumer and supplier, however, service design is based on integration and visualizes service, considering sustainability and motivation in learning. By emphasizing participation and cooperation, there is a maximization of the consumers’ or learners' value experience. Service design goes beyond determining the form of the smart media-based contents to directly transforming the users’ behaviors. Therefore, this research plans to examine the usability of smart media-based teaching and learning environment focusing on service design. In this article, it is also asked that the needs of service in smart media-based teaching and learning environment by learners and parents.
