EMIS Data Analyzing and Monitoring for Educational Planning

This paper introduces an information system for educational management called Educational Management Information System (EMIS). Through data providing and analyzing, EMIS helps school systems in the remote rural areas in Southwest China with educational planning and management. Children in these rural areas benefit tremendously from the implementation of this system. The focus of this paper is on the structure and function of the system. The authors hope that this paper will provide those who are devoted to helping developing areas with ideas of using technology for educational planning and management improvement.
