Abstract

This best practice looks at the collaboration between academics, multi-media developers and industry representatives to create a repository of video interviews. The emphasis of this best practice project was the examination of any requirements or barriers to the design, production and distribution of learning objects for reuse in courses across discipline areas and study levels. The learning objects will be video casestudy/interviews. The presentation will examine the pre production, production and post production techniques employed to make the video objects reusable. There will be discussion about the design of the interface to house the video enabling usability and accessibility standards to be achieved. Finally, the presentation will outline the requirements to make the video interviews available to staff across the organisation.
