Abstract

Online students rely on three types of interactions as they are learning. By interacting with course content, fellow students, and teachers, online students reinforce their understanding of key concepts and gain a sense of connectedness to their educational environment. The development of online curriculum and support services dedicated to building an online learning community requires creative solutions. This session will present solutions to the isolation that online students may feel.
