Abstract

The paper reviews the PBL.NET project, which is targeted at professional development in ICT for school teachers in Taiwan. The strategy of professional development adopted by the project is combining peer coaching and community of practice online. A web site is implemented for the project with the strategy in mind. The quantitative data collected over one year about the usages of the project web site indicate that the strategy is feasible. However, the data also implies that there are rooms for improvement in terms of the service provided in the web site.
