The expression of many numerical formulas and graphs is necessary to make the mathematics teaching materials. When we make many graphs as the different images, we face some problems that it takes much time to modify these graphs and each graph has a difference of style because the graphs are made by the different people. So, we propose the structure of the description language for expressing the numerical formulas and graphs. This proposed description language expands the XML (eXtensible Markup Language), and it is possible to define the numerical formulas and graphs by the XML based language. It becomes easy to modify and reuse the graphs because the XML file is the text form. Moreover, it becomes possible to unify the expression styles of graphs, even if several people participated in making the mathematics teaching materials.
