Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to develop a 3D virtual cooperative field trips instruction system and to realize the effects of cooperative learning in virtual instruction environment. Although a large number of studies have been made on the effects of cooperative learning, little is known about in virtual instruction environment. Base on this, we wonder that cooperative learning might work in virtual instruction environment. Students used to the real time oral communication through network games. Can they solve the problem by this way when they meet a tough task in the virtual field trips system?
