Abstract

This study will investigate student perceptions of two different methods of course delivery in graduate educational technology coursework. All students will use step-by-step PowerPoint instruction to reinforce their multimedia learning. One group will be required to use the Web-based streaming media format. The other group will be required to use the CD-ROM format. Both groups will undergo a period of regular access to traditional multimedia instruction. Student perceptions toward Web-based streaming media and CD-ROM formats will be studied, along with their relative perceptions toward multimedia learning in general.
