Abstract

Utah Valley University’s Office of Teaching and Learning was in search of a course design rubric to ensure the quality of course offerings university wide. After researching multiple practices across the United States, The Open SUNY Course Quality Review OSCQR rubric was selected and adapted as an original derivative work. UVU’s Course Design Rubric supports 37,000+ students by enhancing Faculty and Instructional Designer efforts in designing quality Face-to-Face, Online, and Hybrid courses.

This round table will present and discuss Utah Valley University’s Course Design Rubric and its implementation.
