Abstract

This proposed roundtable will provide examples of how transmedia books can be used to incorporate digital fabrication into the k-12 curriculum. An example of a transmedia book developed through a current National Science Foundation grant will be provided. Examples of how transmedia books can facilitate the learning of US national and state standards will be explored. The role that transmedia books can play in STEM education will be discussed.
