Abstract

E-learning has simplified many complex subjects. Multivariate statistical analysis might easily fall into the category of complex subjects. As part of a graduate statistics course, students designed an e-learning tool to teach discriminant analysis. The paper will describe the instructional design of this html-based tool and analyze data collected from 50 participants who completed a form online. This e-learning design provided practical application and synthesis of theory.
