Abstract

This paper reports a research project that seeks to capture the experience of teachers with technology-enhanced teaching and learning in the context of higher education. The main goal of this work is to capture the experiences of teachers and make them available for use by novices and others in the organization. The focus of this investigation is on how the use of information and communications technology is influencing teacher thought and teaching practices. Interviews are being used as the main means of data collection, and as such, the study comprises a naturalistic inquiry. Our goal is to look beyond objective data and examine how information and communications technology is fundamentally influencing the nature of the teaching and learning transactions. Stories collected are archived on a website, and used in a variety of ways to support the sharing of knowledge and professional practice in the area of technology enhanced teaching and learning.
