This paper presents an approach to a visualization method to represent the learning process and its application to collaborative learning supports in e-learning environments. We first focus "Annotation Editor" to add virtually the characteristic annotations and links among them to the electronic materials used in the learning process. These annotations should include some notices, attentions, comments, and links for the concept, item, figure/illustration on the electronic materials. A collection consisting of the annotation structure built up by each learner and the original electronic materials is called "Learning Resource" in this paper. Next, we propose "Learning Resource Browser" to display the structure of the "Learning Resource" and the structure itself can be edited to correct any annotations. Finally, practicable application methods to collaborative learning are discussed.
