Abstract

The authors focus on a style of scientific model learning with Drawings that students reflect their drawing processes using the playback function of a drawing system. They call the drawing system with playback function "RPDS: Repeat-Playable-Drawing System" in this paper. Currently, they are developing a drawing system called "Polka" based on the concept of RPDS. Polka has drawing and editing functions similar to general drawing software. In addition, Polka can play back drawing and editing process. Using these functions, Polka assists students to learn scientific models through Drawings. This paper reports the design and development of Polka.
