Abstract
Our University is facing increased pressure from students for more and earlier school based placements. We already have, however, nearly saturated our local area with our current placement load given the size of our University and its rural location. Therefore, we have turned to exploring the use of simSchool as a new method of giving our students an early classroom experience. Our presentation will describe our implementation procedure and describe the obstacles we have faced and the successes we have experienced.
