Abstract
Open University of China (OUC) is named from the China Central Radio and TV University (CCRTVU). China's educational television system began in 1960 but was suspended during the Cultural Revolution in 1966. In 1979 the China Central Radio and Television University was established in Beijing with branches in twenty-eight provincial-level universities. A long with the advance of technology, online education is growing fast and getting more comprehensive with the integration of computing networking and multimedia; Open University of China is merged to the global net and playing a critical role in Chinese Education System. This paper is to examine the OUCs open education data (2006-2010), explore its development trends and discuss its related issues with a statistical perspective.
