Abstract
Abstract: The traditional lecture approach is subject-based instruction, not problem-based. Problem-based learning is simply to make the learning meaningful through contextualized problem sets and situations (Rhem, 1998). According to educational theorists, a problem-based approach will benefit students to recall the knowledge easier, retain it longer and apply it more effectively (Boyle, 1999). Technology is believed essential to enhance teaching and learning. Presenters have successfully implemented Movie Maker with a problem solving approach in pre- and in-service teachers training. This presentation is to discuss a problem-based approach in technology implementation for in-service teachers' training, and to demonstrate the successful learning of Movie Maker and its application in classroom teaching.
